FIVE PLUS ONE COOLEST FINDS AT THE LESLIEVILLE FLEA – FEBRUARY 2016

Wow! What a fantastic day we had at last Sunday`s Leslieville Flea. Great weather, fabulous vendors and fabulous finds. We start with this NO EXIT sign purchased at L & A Vintage by money- savvy Michael.  He used his allowance to buy this for his room.  Money well spent Michael!  We hope to see you again. A slightly older Michael spent his discretionary cash on a vintage Style Council record from Selector Records Vintage 30 offered painted chairs of many sizes and colours. 3 Great Reasons not to miss the Leslieville Flea this Sunday!

There are always tons of great reasons to come to the Leslieville Flea...but we've highlighted 3 to make sure you don't miss out on anything this Sunday February 21st from 10am-4pm.   1. It's the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday. Stroll through the Historic Distillery District and take in the sights (consistently rated as one of Toronto's not to be missed spots).  Snap a Selfie at the Love Locks Installation.  Grab a coffee or a bite to eat from the many restaurants and cafes and then browse the Flea for some cool finds. Try Cluny Bistro, Mill Street Brewery Pub or El Catrin for brunch, lunch or dinner after the Flea! 2. It's a great place to meet your friends and hang out. No one likes to shop alone so tell your friends to meet you at the Fermenting Cellar and then enjoy music from Indie88 and hang out together while you shop some...

Our next Flea is Sunday, February 21st….check out some of the vendors who will be there!

The third Sunday of the month will find us, once again, in the Fermenting Cellar of Toronto's Distillery District.  We will have music from Indie88, food and beverages for sale, and of course the best vintage, antique and handcrafted vendors around....all in a beautiful and unique space. If you've never been to the Fermenting Cellar, it is worth the trip to The Leslieville Flea just to see this significant building.  The cellar first opened in 1861, and was reconstructed after a huge fire almost destroyed it in 1869.   Stroll through the place where whisky was once fermented and distilled on site and take in the history.  Notice how close the shore line was to the buildings over 100 years ago!  You can even do a tour of the Distillery District in its entirety while you are there.  Check out Segway Ontario here for more info...they do...
